At Asakusa Imahan Kokusai Street Head Restaurant, we only use carefully selected female beef with finely textured meat from Japanese Black Beef. Our Asakusa Imahan-style sukiyaki, which is made by using a secret sauce and quickly simmering the meat in a shallow pot, is a traditional technique that allows you to enjoy the full flavor of the ingredients. We also offer shabu-shabu, kaiseki cuisine, and easy-to-make rice bowl dishes at lunchtime.
We are proud of not only our food, but also our heartfelt service. Our restaurant has a wide range of seating options to suit your needs, including private rooms, a large hall, and table seating.

Nakamise-dori, the lively main approach to Sensoji Temple.
In 1886, when the five-story pagoda of Sensoji Temple was being repaired, visitors were allowed to climb onto the scaffolding for a fee of just 1 sen, which proved extremely popular and led to the construction of observation towers in Asakusa.
Currently, a total of 89 stores, including souvenir shops and restaurants, line the street that stretches for about 250 meters.

Completed in 1890, this 52-meter-tall, 12-story observation tower was the tallest building in Japan at the time. Ichisuke Fujioka designed Japan's first electric elevator, and Kibataro Oki was in charge of the telephone equipment. At the site, you can see a painting of Ryounkaku and the bricks that were used at the time.
