川越「うつくし」スポット Kawagoe "Beautiful" Spot

大きな鬼瓦の屋根に黒しっくいの壁と分厚い観音開きの扉…。まるでタイムスリップしてしまったかの様な感覚になる蔵造りの趣豊かな建物が立ち並ぶ蔵の街として知られる「一番街」。
最も古く、1792年(寛政4)に建てられた大沢家住宅は国の重要文化財に指定されています。近年では新しい建築物も、景観を壊さないように工夫され、新しいものと古いものとが調和した街づくりが行われています。 With its large onigawara roofs, black plaster walls and thick double doors... Ichibangai is known as a storehouse town, with its rows of quaint storehouse-style buildings that will make you feel as if you've traveled back in time. The oldest building, the Osawa family home, built in 1792 (Kansei 4), is designated as an Important Cultural Property by the nation. In recent years, new buildings have been designed to not disrupt the scenery, and the town is being developed in a way that harmonizes the old and new.
