  • Nikko Edomura
This theme park recreates the streets of the Edo period and has areas such as the "Highway," "Merchant Town," "Craftsman Town," "Post Town," "Theater District," "Samurai Town," and "Ninja Village." You can easily enjoy Edo culture with things like playhouses, courtesan processions, and ninja theaters.
  • Kinugawa Onsen Station (boarding the SL Taiju)
In 2017, the Tobu Kinugawa Line began operating between Shimoimaichi Station and Kinugawa Onsen Station. The train has a capacity of about 200 seats and is pulled by a steam locomotive with three passenger cars. In actual operation, the train is made up of a total of six cars, including a caboose equipped with an automatic train stop device (ATS) and a diesel locomotive for shunting and emergencies. The sight of the cars that were once used for steam locomotive operation, loaned or transferred from railway companies across the country, running, including the transfer tables at Kinugawa Onsen Station and Shimoimaichi Station, is a spectacular sight.
  • Shimoimaichi Station (Turntable Square, Old Overpass, Steam Locomotive Exhibition Hall)
The steam locomotive enters the turntable at 16:40, and the process of changing direction of the steam locomotive is a must-see. In addition to the steam locomotive engine shed, there are many other attractions, such as the retro station building, the old overpass that is registered as a tangible cultural property, and the steam locomotive exhibition hall.
