Cherry blossoms along the Shin-Kashi River

Known as a scenic spot for cherry blossoms, during the peak season, a graceful boat ride will be held, where you can enjoy the view from the water on a boat operated by a boatman (applications must be made in advance and participation will be decided by lottery).

"This art museum houses and exhibits paintings by Yuji Misu, a master of modern realism. You can appreciate his spectacular paintings, such as "Ranman," which depicts cherry blossoms in full bloom. The building was designed by Toyo Ito.
Kawagoe Castle Honmaru Palace

This famous castle was a key location in the Kanto region from the Sengoku period through to the Edo period, and is one of only two castle sites in Japan with its main castle palace still standing, and the only one in eastern Japan. There are remains of the castle in the surrounding area that recall the past.

Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, famous as a power spot for matchmaking, is said to have been founded about 1,500 years ago. It is worshiped as the "god of matchmaking" and "god of family harmony" because it enshrines two married couples and Oonamuchi-no-Mikoto, who is also known as the matchmaking god of Izumo Taisha. The "Tai fortune-telling slips" and "matchmaking balls" are popular.
