Isehara Daijingu is a rare two-shrine structure consisting of an inner shrine and an outer shrine, dedicated to the Ise Grand Shrine, which gave the place name "Isehara" its name. This temple has its head temple on Mount Hiei, Enryaku-ji, and enshrines the snake-like King Ugajin in the Iwaya Reiketsu cave, which represents the womb of Benzaiten. Within the temple grounds, the Benzaiten hall, named Hojuden, was rebuilt in December 1804 based on records in the death register, and is known as the finest Benzaiten hall in Hiratsuka City, blending in with its surroundings.
