Isehara Daijingu is a rare two-shrine structure consisting of an inner shrine and an outer shrine, dedicated to the Ise Grand Shrine, which gave the place name "Isehara" its name. At Ise Grand Shrine, Amaterasu Omikami is enshrined in the inner shrine, and Toyoukehime-no-Okami is enshrined in the outer shrine, and at Isehara Daijingu, worship is similarly performed at the inner shrine and outer shrine.

This temple has its head temple on Mount Hiei, Enryaku-ji, and enshrines the snake-like King Ugajin in the Iwaya Reiketsu cave, which represents the womb of Benzaiten. Within the temple grounds, the Benzaiten hall, named Hojuden, was rebuilt in December 1804 based on records in the death register, and is known as the finest Benzaiten hall in Hiratsuka City, blending in with its surroundings.
