  • Goryokaku at Tatsuoka Castle
Tatsuoka Castle Goryokaku is a Western-style castle with a star-shaped bastion, one of only two in Japan, along with Hakodate Goryokaku.
The cherry trees planted along the moat are in full bloom. There are not only Somei-Yoshino cherry trees but also Beniyama cherry trees, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing for a long period of time, and the flower rafts where the petals cover the surface of the moat are also beautiful.
  • Inariyama Park
From the 35m-tall space rocket-shaped observation deck Cosmo Tower, you can see the cherry blossoms in the park spread out like a pink carpet!
If you change the viewing angle of Cosmo Tower, you can see a view that looks like a rocket taking off towards the cherry blossom star.
